MADRASAH
As-Salaamu-Alaiukum. Islamic education is the cornerstone of being a good Muslim and citizen. Markazud Dawat Wal irshad is dedicated to this cause and offers education classes for children upto the age of 15. The Masjid caters for both boys and girls from the age of 4 and a half.
MADRASAH SYLLABUS
Students follow a structured syllabus throughout their time at the Maktab/Madrasah and progress is assessed annually through oral and written examinations, as well as assessments during the year. This syllabus is overseen by our appointed Headteacher Moulana Muadh Kapodrawi and is also overlooked by our Imaam Mufti Huzaifah Delawala.
The children start off with Ahsanul Qawaid (an introduction to the Arabic alphabet) and progressing during their time at the Maktab/Madrasah to the recitation of the Holy Qur’aan. As the student progresses, additional emphasis is placed on ‘Tajweed’, the correct pronunciation of the Holy Qur’aan in Arabic.
Students are encouraged to memorise Kalimas, daily supplications and Surahs from the 30th Juzz. Students start with basic Kalimas, moving on to daily Masnoon Duas whilst also memorising certain Surahs.
Once Quran is completed and they come to the end of their time in Madrasah, we provide an extra class for any parents who wish to further their child’s knowledge in their Deeni-Ilm. This class is called Further Education and focusses on matters of importance like behaviour and dealings as well as other areas that are needed to establish a good Islamic principle.
